The microscope I ordered from ebay arrived this week. It magnifies up to 1600X and came with a digital camera attachment, so I can save pictures of the algae.
Also, tonight, I bought some distilled water so I'm going to start making the growth media. I'm working on this now because my mom is here for a week watching Desmond. So someone will be here to bring the sample inside, and not let it roast on the front porch. I am worried I'm going to kill the sample before I figure out how to grow it.
